Well, I saw the place and I think this is rather a legend than fact, a legend which is exploited only for the sake of tourism. And St. Lazarus never lived there, the church was built over his alleged tomb. Leaving controversy aside, the church and its sourroundings are very beautiful and are worth visiting. And maybe the legend is true after all, who knows....?
