You can rent a car in Limassol for less that 10 pounds a day (around 20 dollars), but cars in a good shape cost more than 15 pounds. It's well worth to rent a car, you will actually save money, but rent cars run out fast in high season, so book in advance. Don't buy insurance if you are already insured.
