There is one camping site just near the beach. It's free in the week days, but is very crowded in the weekends, so you have to secure a place in time. There is no way you could book in advance. There isn't much you could there except bathing in the sun and maybe visit the Akamas peninsula, which is a very quite and peaceful place.
