Try the King Alkinoos Hotel, it's located 500 meters from the city center, on the Fig Tree Bay. The location is great and you a have a good view of the Mediterranian. It is good for families because it's quite large, the rooms are spacious and all kinds of facilities are available, a large pool included. All the shops and restaurants are easily accessible and within walking distance. The prices are average.
